Magdy Shehata is a serial entrepreneur, board member, and angel investor. He is the first African and Arab to IPO a gaming company, having co-founded Fragbite Group, where he served as Vice President. The company went public on Nasdaq First North in Sweden in 2021.
He is also the Founder & CEO of Söderhub, a Swedish boutique consultancy that connects fast-growing Nordic companies with business opportunities in the MENA region. Additionally, he is the Co-founder & CEO of FunRock, a Swedish studio developing mobile games.
Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Magdy is an active angel investor and mentor, advising startups and VC funds across Europe and the MENA region. He is also an advisory board member of Vesna Deep Tech Fund, a member of the Swedish Institute Network for Future Global Leaders (NFGL), and the Alexandria Angels Network.
