BIO

Magdy Shehata is a serial entrepreneur, a board member, and an angel investor. He founded Söderhub, a Swedish boutique consultancy that connects fast-growing Nordic companies with business opportunities in the MENA region. Magdy is also the CEO and Co-founder of FunRock, a Swedish mobile gaming company, and the Vice President and Co-founder of Fragbite Group, a publicly traded company since 2021 focusing on M&A in gaming and e-sports.Magdy is an active angel investor and a mentor to several startups in Europe and the MENA region, serving on the boards of companies including Recoma, a company innovating in circular construction solutions, and advising various companies and VC funds. He is a member of the Swedish Institute Network for Future Global Leaders (NFGL) and the Alexandria Angels Network.He is a Ph.D. candidate in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. He holds an MSc degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from KTH and a BSc degree in Computer Engineering.
